How My Tattoo Projects & Sessions Work

Project Kickoff
The first step is understanding your idea. You can send references, sketches, or a concept you already have in mind. From there, I create a custom design based on your taste and my artistic direction—always adapted to your style, anatomy, and the purpose of the tattoo.
My primary focus and specialization are realism and cover-up tattoos . That said, I also work with multiple other styles , from large, detailed pieces to smaller, simpler tattoos —always with professional technique, aesthetic balance, and a clean finish.

I do not charge strictly by the hour . Pricing is calculated per project , based on:

  • Size

  • Complexity and level of detail

  • Style

  • Placement on the body

  • Estimated execution time

Time does influence the overall price, but it’s not the main factor. As a general guideline, projects of around 5+ hours usually start at $1,200 , but each design is evaluated individually.

For smaller tattoos , the minimum price is $100 .

Note: The figures listed are only a starting point for reference. Every tattoo is unique, and final pricing is determined after reviewing your specific project.

Example Gallery (5+ Hour Projects)

Below, you’ll find examples of tattoos that usually take 5 hours or more to complete. These images are meant to give you a visual reference for size and complexity in longer sessions.

Important: These photos do not represent a fixed $1,200 price . They are only examples—actual pricing will vary based on your specific project.

Cover-Up Tattoos

Cover-up tattoos are one of my specialties.
If you’re considering a cover-up, the first step is to speak with me so we can understand exactly what you want to create.
Depending on the design you have in mind, some things may not be possible—but in most cases, we can find a way to make it work beautifully.

I encourage you to let go of limiting ideas about what a cover-up “must” be.
My approach is different: it’s not just about hiding the old tattoo—it’s about transforming it into a new piece of art that you will truly love .

In many cases, we can create highly elaborate, visually impressive designs with rich detail and flow, even when working over an existing tattoo.
Together, we’ll develop a custom project tailored specifically to your tattoo and skin, ensuring the final result is aesthetic, harmonious, and long-lasting .

Do not consume alcohol or any substance that alters your consciousness before or on the day of your appointment.

Do not consume alcohol or any substance that alters your consciousness before or on the day of your appointment.

Have a complete meal at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Keep the area that will be tattooed well hydrated during the week before your appointment using a fragrance-free moisturizer.

Well-hydrated skin is healthier, bleeds less, absorbs pigment more efficiently, and makes the tattooing process smoother and more comfortable.

On the day of your tattoo, arrive with clean, dry skin. Do not apply lotions, creams, oils, or moisturizers to the tattoo area.

The use of numbing creams or anesthetic products is not allowed. If anesthetic has been applied, your appointment will be canceled.

If you take prescription medication, especially blood thinners, or have any health condition that could affect the tattoo procedure or healing, please let us know in advance.

If you have a fever, infection, sunburn, skin irritation, or any significant health changes, your appointment may need to be postponed for your safety.
